His destination was Koh Samui, one of Thailand’s major southern tourist islands. The Russian man was scheduled to travel there at 8.05 pm on August 14. Yet the airport disturbance occurred several hours before that planned journey. The supplied information did not establish whether he subsequently travelled to the island.
