Your authentic story told by us with authority, objectivity and standards

The Thai Examiner PR Bureau service is a commercial offering but is being launched to meet a growing demand from corporate and institutional clients who want to get their message out to our highly influential readership in Thailand and around the world.

This is not an advertisement or even a sponsored post. This is an ethical and highly effective promotional tool for your company that you can use both to tell your story and augment your brand. For January 2023, we’ve temporarily reduced the price in half to $500.

We create the news story to be published in our PR News Bureau and, also, in our main news feeds in our international newspaper for foreigners in Thailand and outside the kingdom.

This is a high-spending, upmarket audience of thinkers and decision-makers around the world in key markets including Thailand.

That is why the content must be not only interesting and beneficial to our readership, it must also be truthful, factual and authoritative.

That is why we insist on creating the final content for this service and will not allow pre-submitted text or copy to be republished without being developed by our newsroom and being an original Thai Examiner story.

That is why our service also cannot be bought cheaply nor will it be sold to clients who do just meet the strict criteria laid down in respect of products, services or reputational standing.

  5. All Thai Examiner articles are subject to strict quality control principles to preserve the integrity of the Thai Examiner, the reputation of the sponsor and the trust between our publication and its readers.

The news service is however part of the Thai Examiner range of advertising services and in this respect, it is to be differentiated from our general and investigative news service.

‘We want our readers to know that this is a commercial service but at the same time, there is no reason for this not to be genuine and approached with the highest standards in mind,’ explains the Editor of Thai Examiner. ‘The first newspapers evolved from commercial and public notices and they have a valid role to play. What we want to avoid at all costs is becoming indirect ‘influencers’ or anything like that. What you see is what you’re getting. We know our readers are intelligent enough to understand that.’

Objective, honest and factual news that is of value and of genuine interest to our readers in Thailand

Nevertheless, the Examiner PR Bureau aims to provide objective and factual news even within this environment and will not publish any information or story that is either not of genuine interest to our readers or is something that falls short of our values which include public service news reporting, honesty and balanced coverage.

‘We have thought long and hard about this service. It is a response to demand from third parties who have a legitimate right to have their voice heard even if it is on a commercial basis but we want to make sure that this differentiation is made clear while also imposing our own standards,’ Mr O’Connor said. ‘We will tweak and adjust the service as we move on.
