The confrontation unfolded at approximately 2.20 am on Sunday, August 9. Mr Teeraphon had just completed a food delivery in Soi Udomsuk, Bang Na district. Afterwards, he prepared to leave the alley on his motorcycle. However, a foreign man was standing in the road and blocking his route.
Mr Teeraphon slowed his motorcycle as he approached. Suddenly, the foreigner threw an egg at him. Thai television coverage said the man then slapped or struck the rider’s head. He immediately ran away and entered a nearby condominium.
More bizarrely, reports said the foreigner fled while laughing. Mr Teeraphon could not follow him inside the building. Instead, he began asking condominium staff about the man who had just attacked him.
That move opened a much wider trail of complaints. A condominium security guard said several other delivery riders had previously been attacked. Crucially, those reported incidents involved the same foreign resident. Sunday’s confrontation therefore appeared to follow earlier attacks reported by delivery workers.
Separately, local Thai reporting disclosed a more serious claim concerning previous violence. Police checks uncovered accusations that the man had previously used brass knuckles. Details surrounding those reported incidents were not disclosed. Police have also not announced any separate charges concerning those claims.
Rider secures CCTV as condo, shop and restaurant staff raise further complaints against foreigner
In parallel, Mr Teeraphon began building evidence concerning Sunday’s attack. He approached the condominium’s juristic office and requested CCTV footage. Staff subsequently supplied recordings connected with the confrontation. Mr Teeraphon handed the footage to Bang Na Police Station as evidence.
During those inquiries, another complaint emerged from inside the condominium. Management accused the foreign resident of damaging communal property. Condominium employees later reportedly went to police over their own allegations. The dispute had now expanded beyond attacks against delivery workers.
On another front, staff at a nearby convenience store described repeated problems involving the same man. An employee told Mr Teeraphon that the foreigner had repeatedly stolen merchandise. The accusation concerned several reported thefts rather than one isolated incident.
Elsewhere, restaurant operators also accused the man of repeatedly walking away from unpaid meals. Reports said he ate at establishments before leaving without settling the bill. Those operators later reportedly approached police after Mr Teeraphon’s case attracted attention.
By this stage, the complaints stretched across several groups in the neighbourhood. Delivery riders reported attacks, while condominium management complained about damaged communal facilities. Convenience store staff accused the man of repeated thefts. Restaurant operators, in turn, reported meals eaten without payment.
Police face widening case as publicity brings more complainants forward before foreigner’s arrest
Adding another layer, police checks brought the reported brass knuckle incidents into the emerging case. However, the separate accusations remain subject to investigation. Officers must examine each complaint and its supporting evidence before determining further legal action.
Mr Teeraphon had formally reported Sunday’s confrontation to Bang Na Police Station. As part of this, he provided the CCTV footage obtained through the condominium’s juristic office. He also published details of the incident on social media. His account then began drawing wider public attention.
In response, other people reportedly came forward with their own complaints. Condominium employees approached police over alleged damage to communal property. Convenience store staff reported their theft accusations. Restaurant operators also raised their complaints about unpaid meals.
At the same time, reports surfaced concerning previous attacks against other food delivery riders. The condominium security guard had already alerted Mr Teeraphon to those incidents. Police were suddenly dealing with far more than one egg-throwing confrontation.
Two days after the attack, Bang Na officers moved against the foreign suspect. They arrested him on Tuesday afternoon, August 11. Police have not disclosed the precise location or circumstances surrounding the arrest.

Publicity then gave the case fresh momentum. Mr Teeraphon’s social media account drew attention to the confrontation and the surrounding complaints. Subsequently, staff from several local businesses reportedly went to police.
Within two days, Bang Na officers had the foreign man in custody. Nevertheless, investigators have yet to announce the full legal case against him. Each reported incident remains subject to police examination.
Online reaction followed quickly after details of the case circulated. Some social media users called for the foreigner to be deported after legal proceedings conclude. No deportation decision has been announced.
At present, police are focused on establishing which complaints can be supported by evidence. CCTV footage already forms part of Mr Teeraphon’s case. Other complainants have reportedly supplied their accounts directly to officers.
