Using stealth and precision, officers took down 33-year-old Finnish national Daniel Reio Karvonen in a bold operation in Hua Hin. Karvonen is wanted in Norway for a brutal 2014 murder and major drug trafficking. The high-stakes sting, coordinated with Norwegian police, ended his years on the run.
